On May 20, 2019, LWDF donated 25,000 sharp containers worth $60,000 to the government of Togo during an official ceremony. These containers will help reduce accidental needle stick which may cause infection by allowing hospitals and laboratories to properly dispose used needles. This is a great need in Togo and we are able to meet this need through your help. Distribution of containers to all hospitals in the country has already begun.
